Can I have a baby in Dubai as a resident?
Yes — Dubai has excellent maternity care. Normal delivery costs AED 12,000–30,000; Caesarean AED 18,000–45,000 in private hospitals. Most comprehensive health insurance plans cover maternity if purchased before conception. Post-birth you must register the birth at DHA, then apply for a birth certificate and sponsor the baby's residence visa within 30 days.
