How we maintain accuracy

Dubai Practical is written by a small team of long-term Dubai residents and specialists. Every page with time-sensitive information (visa fees, school fees, phone numbers, AED prices) is traced back to a primary source — the relevant UAE government authority, the official fee schedule, or the RERA rent index. We publish the name of the responsible editor on each major guide and the date the page was last verified.

Editorial standards

Independence: We accept no payment for editorial coverage. Disclosed affiliate links (e.g. GetYourGuide) are clearly labelled and never influence editorial decisions.
Primary sources: Every government fee or rule cites the issuing authority (DHA, DLD, RERA, MOHRE, GDRFA, ICP, VARA, MOCCAE, Central Bank of the UAE).
Quarterly review:Time-sensitive pages are re-verified at least every 90 days. Each carries a "Last verified: [month year]" timestamp.
Corrections: Spotted an error? Every page has a correction link. We correct quickly and note material corrections publicly.
