About Dubai
Dubai Practical is written and maintained by a small editorial team rather than by named individual experts. We are not lawyers, accountants, doctors or licensed advisers, and nothing here is professional advice. What we do is read the primary sources — ICP, GDRFA, MOHRE, DHA, KHDA, RTA, DEWA, Dubai Land Department and the Federal Tax Authority — and link them where a page states an official fee, rule or deadline. Not every figure on the site carries a link yet, and cost-of-living and market-price estimates are our own reading of what things cost rather than an official rate. Where we get something wrong, tell us using the corrections link on any page and we will fix it.
