App Security Tips for Dubai

Use UAE Pass for Verification

Instead of entering personal details on every government site, use UAE Pass single sign-on. It's more secure and faster.

Enable 2FA on Financial Apps

Banking and payment apps should always have two-factor authentication enabled. UAE banks send OTPs via SMS.

Beware Fake App Store Clones

Always download government apps from official UAE government websites. Fake clones exist on the App Store and Google Play.

VPN Note

VPN use for accessing legal content is tolerated. Using VPNs for illegal activities (VOIP calls on some apps) is prohibited and can result in fines.
