Dubai is a city that takes fitness seriously. With world-class gym chains, pristine beaches, dedicated cycling tracks, water sports on warm Gulf waters, and major global sporting events, there are few cities that offer this range of active options. The key caveat: outdoor sports are genuinely dangerous from June–September (40°C+, high humidity) and must be planned around early mornings or evenings. From October to April, Dubai is a paradise for outdoor fitness.

Dubai's outdoor fitness infrastructure is genuinely impressive — dedicated cycling tracks, waterfront running paths, and free outdoor gyms. Best October through April.
