Best Gyms in Dubai: Prices and Contracts

"Best" depends on what you need, so this guide picks by criteria you can check yourself. Lowest published monthly price: GymNation, with a Core plan from AED 209, among the chains compared here. Open 24/7: all six GymNation branches in Dubai. Biggest network: Fitness First, with 16 Dubai clubs on its official list. Ladies-only: GymNation says every Dubai branch has a separate ladies' club, and Fitness First and Warehouse Gym run dedicated ladies clubs. Boutique and pay-per-class: F45 (AED 140 drop-in) and 1Rebel (three sessions for AED 199).

Prices below were checked on the gyms' own websites in October 2026 and should be confirmed before you join. Where a chain does not publish a price, we say so rather than guess. For other ways to stay active, see our sports and fitness guide.

F45 Training — boutique classes. Unlimited autopay AED 890–1,290/month; one-month unlimited pass AED 1,285–1,590, by studio. 15 Dubai studios (two not yet open).
Barry's — boutique classes. Prices not published. Two Dubai studios: DIFC and Dubai Marina.

Lowest Published Prices

GymNation

GymNation's Dubai location pages list Core from AED 209 a month, Plus at AED 240 and Signature at AED 399, rising to AED 449 at Al Quoz. You may also see "memberships from AED 99 p/m": that is a special offer on GymNation's Dubai Fitness Challenge page with no terms shown, not the standard rate. GymNation says every branch has Matrix cardio machines, free weights up to 60kg and functional training zones, and every new joiner gets a free session with a trainer. Its checkout shows a joining fee and an admin fee, but the amounts are not in the page text, so ask before paying.

Warehouse Gym

Warehouse Gym's own pages show monthly prices from AED 252 at Ibn Battuta Mall, AED 356 at Al Quoz, Business Bay and The Springs Souk, and AED 430 at DIFC, Emirates Towers, Dubai Science Park and Jumeirah Park. Its pages say Premium membership includes access to 15 other gyms.

Full-Service Chains

Fitness First

Fitness First does not publish prices: its FAQ says to call 800-FITNESS, and its membership page lists tiers (Titanium, Platinum, Home, All Access) without figures. Its FAQ cites over 500 free group classes a week, including Les Mills, yoga and spin. Titanium clubs include DIFC, Marina Gate and The Palm. DIFC has immersive spin, signature box and hot yoga studios, an exclusive ladies-only facility and two hours of free parking. Fitness First is not a 24/7 operator.

UFC GYM and Wellfit

UFC GYM lists MMA, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, boxing and Muay Thai conditioning, and HIIT, with a free assessment instead of a published price. Wellfit's Mirdif club at Sport Society covers 47,000 square feet, according to developer Arada's December 2025 press release; its membership prices were not published on the pages we read.

Gold's Gym, which older guides to Dubai gyms still list, rebranded as Uform Fitness in 2023: an archived copy of its former UAE site, dated June 2023, says "Gold's Gym is now Uform Fitness". We could not reach Uform's site to verify its Dubai clubs or prices.

Boutique and Pay-Per-Class

F45 Training

F45's studio pages list unlimited autopay plans at AED 890 to AED 1,290 a month depending on the studio and term, and a one-month unlimited pass at AED 1,285 to AED 1,590; DIFC also lists an eight-class plan at AED 690. Drop-in is AED 140 at most Dubai studios. Classes are 45 minutes. F45 says it has 20 studios across the UAE; 15 are in Dubai by place name, including DIFC, Downtown, Jumeirah, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Hills, Springs Souk and Mirdif. Two of the 15 are not yet open: Dubai Marina (its page says the studio is not yet open) and Creek Beach (taking foundation memberships).

Barry's and 1Rebel

Barry's DIFC opened in 2017 at Central Park Towers; the Dubai Marina studio is at Trident Grand Mall, open Sun–Thu 7:00 am to 9:30 pm, Fri 7:15 am to 2:30 pm and Sat 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, as listed by Barry's. Class prices appear only in Barry's booking flow. 1Rebel DIFC has two class studios and a gym floor, with RESHAPE, RIDE, SGT and open gym formats.

Personal training

Embody Fitness in DIFC is personal-training only, with sessions from AED 425 and no gym-floor memberships.

CrossFit and Strength

CrossFit's own affiliate directory lists about 10 active affiliated boxes in Dubai and 15 across the UAE. Boxes include CrossFit Alioth (Al Quoz), CrossFit Fly High (Dubai Investment Park), CrossFit Sands (Motor City) and CrossFit Yas JLT. Most boxes publish no prices. Two that do: Vogue Fitness JLT lists unlimited access at AED 999 a month and an eight-class pass at AED 750, and Fly High's Platinum tier, the one that includes CrossFit, is AED 850 for one month and AED 7,700 for 12 months, with a free day pass offered. Warehouse Gym's Al Quoz page describes its CrossFit community as the largest.

Ladies-Only Gyms

GymNation says every Dubai branch has an independent ladies' club with its own entrance, female coaches and women-only classes.
Fitness First — Uptown Mirdif and Damac Hills are ladies-only clubs. Mirdif City Centre, Al Barsha Mall, DIFC, Dubai Festival City, Oasis Centre (Al Quoz) and Burjuman have ladies-only facilities within the club.
Warehouse Gym — Al Barsha Ladies (Grove Mall, from AED 430 a month), Al Khawaneej Ladies and Al Quoz Ladies (AED 356).
UFC GYM Mirdif is ladies-only. Fitness 360 has a ladies-only Arabian Center branch (7 am to midnight) and a ladies section in International City. FitnGlam runs women's clubs at Al Quoz, Sport Society (Mirdif), Dubai Hills Mall and Nad Al Sheba; prices are not published.

Free Outdoor Options

The Arabian Post reported in August 2026 that JBR Beach has an outdoor gym that is free to use, with no membership, booking or ticket, near the pedestrian bridge to Bluewaters Island. It has pull-up bars, parallel bars and bodyweight strength stations. Local guides say Kite Beach has outdoor gym and calisthenics stations that are free to use; we found no official source for the equipment. Gulf News reported in January 2026 that several major Dubai Municipality parks already house outdoor gym facilities.

Multi-Gym Passes

Privilee advertises access "from just AED 579 a month" to resorts, hotels and gyms, with classes including CrossFit, spinning, boxing, yoga, pilates and ladies-only sessions. Looking for reformer pilates or yoga? See the yoga and pilates studios guide.

Free Trials and Day Passes

Fitness First offers a free day pass; a guest can visit once before joining.
GymNation offers a free day pass, with 1-day, 3-day and 7-day options in its registration form (prices for the longer passes are not shown).
Warehouse Gym offers a free trial pass; the Al Barsha Ladies page offers a day pass or week pass.
F45 sells trials for local residents only, for example a 1-day trial at AED 99 and a 14-day trial at AED 399 at several Dubai studios; the length and price differ by studio.
Fly High (Dubai Investment Park) offers a free day pass, and UFC GYM offers a free assessment.

Before You Sign

GymNation

Core and Plus are a 12-month agreement paid monthly, and GymNation's terms say you must make the minimum number of monthly payments. The terms also mention a Flexible membership; ask whether it is offered at your branch. Any cancellation needs at least 30 days' notice, the joining fee is not refundable, and a failed payment carries an AED 200 fee. After the minimum term, monthly collection continues automatically. Within the 12 months, GymNation's terms allow cancellation only with evidence: a new permanent address 30 km or more from any GymNation gym, an illness or injury that prevents exercise for three months or longer, leaving the country permanently (one-way ticket and visa cancellation), pregnancy, or redundancy after you joined (resigning or being dismissed does not count). Freezes are capped at three months a year at AED 50 a month, but the FAQ says freezing is only for temporary illness or injury, not holidays or travel. Online joiners have 14 full days if they have not attended, or 24 hours after their first visit, to cancel.

Fitness First

The standard is a 12-month membership, with short-term options. After the minimum period you can cancel by appointment only, using a form with the General Manager before the 25th for the change to take effect the next month. Start-up and membership fees are non-refundable, and the start-up fee amount is not published. A one-month membership cannot be frozen; other freezes run one to three months in any 12 at AED 47.5 plus taxes a month. Payments received after the 15th incur a late fee of AED 50 plus taxes.

F45

For the annual autopay plan, the Downtown and Dubai Marina studio pages state a two-month minimum commitment, 30 days' notice with one final payment, a freeze fee of AED 50 per week, and no refunds.

Cooling-off and complaints

A UAE law explainer (not a regulator) says there is no general statutory cooling-off period for a signed in-person gym membership. Gulf News reported in 2020 that a Dubai Marina gym closed without refunds, so paying monthly rather than a year upfront limits your exposure. To complain about a business licensed in Dubai, use the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) Consumer Rights site, consumerrights.gov.ae, or call 600 545 555; Gulf News says an employee contacts you within two working days. Businesses licensed in other emirates are not covered.

Dubai Fitness Challenge 2026

The Dubai Media Office says the tenth edition runs from 31 October to 29 November 2026, asking participants to commit to 30 minutes of activity a day for 30 consecutive days. It is organised by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism and the Dubai Sports Council, with Dubai Run, Dubai Ride, Dubai Stand Up Paddle and Dubai Yoga events plus Fitness Villages and Fitness Hubs. The 2026 announcement does not itemise what is free; the first edition made activities free, so check the official programme for current details.

Best Gyms by Area

DIFC and Downtown — Fitness First DIFC, F45 DIFC, Barry's DIFC, 1Rebel DIFC, Warehouse Gym DIFC and Platform Studios (Index Tower); in Downtown, GymNation, F45 and Snap Fitness.
Dubai Marina and JBR — Fitness First Marina Gate, UFC GYM JBR, Barry's Dubai Marina, Wellfit Dubai Marina, Platform Studios Dubai Marina and the free JBR Beach outdoor gym.
Al Quoz and Business Bay — GymNation Al Quoz, Warehouse Gym Al Quoz and Business Bay, Fitness First Bay Gate and Oasis Centre, UFC GYM Business Bay, CrossFit Alioth.
