Desk research against primary sources. Figures are traced to the issuing UAE authority and linked on the page.
The AED 12,000–30,000 first-year figure is a bundle, not a single fee, which is why two Tadbeer centres can quote different totals for what looks like the same service — the recruitment fee, visa, medical, Emirates ID and insurance are priced separately and simply add up differently depending on the worker’s nationality and the centre’s own rates. The 2-year contract is the reference point for what that first-year cost covers; a renewal afterwards is a smaller, separate transaction rather than a repeat of the same bill.
Sponsors are checked against both a minimum salary and suitable housing before Tadbeer proceeds, so the AED 12,000–30,000 budget is only relevant once you already qualify to sponsor at all — it is not a fee that substitutes for meeting the eligibility bar. Direct hire outside Tadbeer might look like it avoids that first-year cost, but it also gives up the structure a Tadbeer centre puts around the contract, insurance and visa — which is what makes the direct route legally complex rather than simply cheaper.
